I build things that think, see, and adapt. I'm a Computer Engineering student at Istanbul Medipol University (B.S., English), graduating June 2026, and I'm heading toward a US master's at the intersection of AI and business.
My world revolves around three things: AI and machine learning applied to healthcare, cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes, and computer vision. I've fine-tuned large language models (QLoRA) to turn messy multilingual clinical documents into structured data, built a Go-based Kubernetes optimizer that cuts cloud waste safely, and trained neural networks to recognise facial expressions in real time.
The iPhone wasn't the first smartphone. Tesla wasn't the first electric car. Kubernetes wasn't the first container orchestrator. But they were all done better.
That's what I'm after - not building something first, but building something that actually makes sense. Better execution, better results, better thinking about the problem. Taking existing ideas and asking "Why does it have to be this way?" Identifying the pain points that everyone accepts as normal and addressing them.
Whether it's making Kubernetes stop wasting cloud resources or teaching computers to recognize emotions more accurately- I want to work on things that move the needle. Places where "good enough" isn't good enough.
